We are a family owned and operated Deli located in the heart of the historic district of downtown Walterboro. At Side Street Deli, our gourmet menu only features the finest ingredients. Our fresh hearth baked breads come from premier bakeries and our prime meats are cut daily. Each of our unique deli sides have become a staple for many of our local customers. Some even say, our Chicken Salad (The Colleton) is better than Grandma’s! Along with our delicious menu, our Restaurant provides a delightful atmosphere that you’re sure to enjoy with family, friends or clients.

The building was originally our Grandmother’s beauty salon for over fifty years and was known throughout Walterboro. After intensive remodeling, we have been able to bring it back to its original splendor. As you enter you will be amazed at the heart of pine rafters and handmade brickwork that showcases the craftsmanship of the 1910’s. It has become quite the jewel in downtown that both locals and visitors have come to cherish. We take pride in providing excellent customer service by making sure our staff is fully trained and ready to serve you.
